Fall Photo Booth Time!


Hi friends!  It's Amanda here sharing my very first blog post.  I am so excited to share this pop up card using The Greeting Farm "Nice Couple" and "Lettered" clear stamp sets along with the "Halloween Nite", "4th of July",  and "Porch" digi sets.



I enjoy creating cards that have a simple "hello" with a pleasant surprise inside. When it is opened the scene inside will bring an even bigger smile to someones face.

To make this card I used a 5"x7" white card base and used the following digi and clear stamp products from The Greeting Farm:

New Halloween Nite - digi set

New Nice Couple - Clear set

Lettered - Clear set

Porch - digi set

4th of July - digi set


I used Microsoft Word to layer and group the images for the card.  I colored all the images on card by using Prismacolor Premier colored pencils.  To make the wreath I used the Gina K. Designs New and Improved Wreath Builder Templates along with the leaves and cattail stamps from the Nice Couple - Clear stamp set.  To make the gingham background I used the Gingham Background Stamp Set from Concord & 9th.  To make subtle stars I used the Zig Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Marker pen 101 Gold.

For You - Gift Tags Hi Friends! Thanks for joining me again in another post. The Greeting Farm stamps are such a wonderful addition to making gift tags.  Today I used some stamps from the new Fa la la clear stamp set, the Secret Santa set and I Heart Sweaters set. I used the Tim Holtz Tag die cut set to use as the base on 110 lb Neenah cardstock.  I used Copics to color all of the stamped images. For the two shaker cards I filled them with Diamond Dust from Flora Craft and also glued it to some of the snow drifts. I will definitely be making more of these to adorn my holiday gifts. Don't Have a Stamp? Draw it!  Hi Friends! So, my daughter wanted to have a Jack Skellington birthday card for one of her good friends.  This was a last minute card I had to finish today. I didn't want to find an image online and print it, so decided to try my hand at drawing it. I found an image I liked and took a mechanical Bic pencil and sketched him out.   I then used a Copic liner to line the pencil and then erased the pencil lines. The Halloween paper is from the Recollections collection from Michael's.  To cut out the stitched circles and rectangles, I used die cuts from My Favorite Things .  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Hero Arts . Surf's Up - Rocker Card

Surf's Up! - Rocker Card Hi friends! Living in Arizona makes me miss living near a beach as much as I love it here. When I saw the Beach Day stamp set from The Greeting Farm I knew exactly what I wanted to make with it.  I absolutely love interactive cards, so my first thought was a rocker card. I used Copic markers to color these tanned beach cuties from The Greeting Farm Beach Day - Clear stamp set . They are the star of this rocker card and the My Favorite Things die cut complimented it well. To make the sun and the sand I used the circle dies from Hero Arts .   The following Distress oxide inks were used: Waves - Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean Sand - Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap Sun - Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed Clouds - Tumbled Glass Palm tree - Mowed Lawn and Shabby Shutters Check out a  short video  to see this interactive card in action.
