Surf's Up - Rocker Card

Surf's Up! - Rocker Card Hi friends! Living in Arizona makes me miss living near a beach as much as I love it here. When I saw the Beach Day stamp set from The Greeting Farm I knew exactly what I wanted to make with it.  I absolutely love interactive cards, so my first thought was a rocker card. I used Copic markers to color these tanned beach cuties from The Greeting Farm Beach Day - Clear stamp set . They are the star of this rocker card and the My Favorite Things die cut complimented it well. To make the sun and the sand I used the circle dies from Hero Arts .   The following Distress oxide inks were used: Waves - Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean Sand - Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap Sun - Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed Clouds - Tumbled Glass Palm tree - Mowed Lawn and Shabby Shutters Check out a  short video  to see this interactive card in action. Thanks again for joining me! I hope you go out and try making this card! đŸ’™Amanda Oh! Please join me o...

If I could hug them all I would.  Just see the excitement on each of their faces as they exchange gifts. To make this shadow box card I used a rectangle die cut from Hero Arts to cut the front window of the card.  The snow drifts are from My Favorite things , and the acetate window is from Judikins .  I thought it would be fun to make it look like it was snowing, so I used the My Favorite Things splatter stamp ,  VersaMark ink and Wow Embossing powder with my heat tool from Heidi Swapp. The back panel background was blended using  Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink in Picked Raspberries . And, embossed using the same method for the front window. The measurements for the card are: Cut an 8 1/2" x 11" 110lb cardstock in half (I used Neenah Classic Crest), so you will have two 4 1/4" x 11". ...
