For You - Gift Tags

For You - Gift Tags Hi Friends! Thanks for joining me again in another post. The Greeting Farm stamps are such a wonderful addition to making gift tags.  Today I used some stamps from the new Fa la la clear stamp set, the Secret Santa set and I Heart Sweaters set. I used the Tim Holtz Tag die cut set to use as the base on 110 lb Neenah cardstock.  I used Copics to color all of the stamped images. For the two shaker cards I filled them with Diamond Dust from Flora Craft and also glued it to some of the snow drifts. I will definitely be making more of these to adorn my holiday gifts. Don't Have a Stamp? Draw it...

Don't Have a Stamp? Draw it!  Hi Friends! So, my daughter wanted to have a Jack Skellington birthday card for one of her good friends.  This was a last minute card I had to finish today. I didn't want to find an image online and print it, so decided to try my hand at drawing it. I found an image I liked and took a mechanical Bic pencil and sketched him out.   I then used a Copic liner to line the pencil and then erased the pencil lines. The Halloween paper is from the Recollections collection from Michael's.  To cut out the stitched circles and rectangles, I used die cuts from My Favorite Things .  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Hero Arts . Dia De Muertos with Chibi Spain

Image
Dia De Muertos! I was scrolling through the digi stamps from The Greeting Farm and came across Chibi Spain . I had a thought in my head that this would be a perfect image to make a Dia de Muertos card. Her hair, her dress, her face, her everything was perfect.   So, I got her printed out and took my pencil and began to draw out a design on her face in pencil then used a copic liner over that. I used my Copics to color her hair and used my Ohuhu's to color the rest. In my stamp stash I used the Whimsy "Dia De Muertos" stamp from the Sugar Skull Cuties stamp set for the sentiment. The paper is from my favorite local small business craft store The Paper collage . To cut the oval pieces I used Hero Arts oval stacking die set . Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog!! Surf's Up - Rocker Card

Surf's Up! - Rocker Card Hi friends! Living in Arizona makes me miss living near a beach as much as I love it here. When I saw the Beach Day stamp set from The Greeting Farm I knew exactly what I wanted to make with it.  I absolutely love interactive cards, so my first thought was a rocker card. I used Copic markers to color these tanned beach cuties from The Greeting Farm Beach Day - Clear stamp set . They are the star of this rocker card and the My Favorite Things die cut complimented it well. To make the sun and the sand I used the circle dies from Hero Arts .   The following Distress oxide inks were used: Waves - Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean Sand - Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap Sun - Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed Clouds - Tumbled Glass Palm tree - Mowed Lawn and Shabby Shutters Check out a  short video  to see this interactive card in action. Thanks again for joining me! I hope you go out and try making this card! đŸ’™Amanda Oh! Please join me on Instagram at  heya

Gift Exchange Time - Shadow Box Card

Image
FA LA LA! Hi friends, it's Amanda here to share a shadow box card created using the Fa La La - Clear stamp set from The Greeting Farm .  These snow cuties are soooo adorable! If I could hug them all I would.  Just see the excitement on each of their faces as they exchange gifts. To make this shadow box card I used a rectangle die cut from Hero Arts to cut the front window of the card.  The snow drifts are from My Favorite things , and the acetate window is from Judikins .  I thought it would be fun to make it look like it was snowing, so I used the My Favorite Things splatter stamp ,  VersaMark ink and Wow Embossing powder with my heat tool from Heidi Swapp. The back panel background was blended using  Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink in Picked Raspberries . And, embossed using the same method for the front window. The measurements for the card are: Cut an 8 1/2" x 11" 110lb cardstock in half (I used Neenah Classic Crest), so you will have two 4 1/4" x 11". Score
